    1. Lightweight: 
      Lithium batteries are significantly lighter than lead-acid batteries, making them much easier to handle and install. Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4 or LFP) chemistries deliver about 50% more useable electrical capacity with up to 70% less weight than lead-acid batteries. LiFePO4 units are also lighter than some lithium ion batteries, around half the weight of lithium manganese oxide (LMO) batteries.
    2. Longer lifespan: 
      Lithium batteries have a longer lifespan than lead-acid batteries, meaning they need to be replaced less frequently. This not only saves money in the long run, but it also means less time spent on maintenance and battery replacement.
    3. Higher energy density: 
      Lithium batteries have a higher energy density, which means they can store more energy in a smaller space. This makes them ideal for use in boats, where space is often limited.
    4. Faster charging: 
      Lithium batteries can be charged much faster than lead-acid batteries, allowing for more time in the water.
      Battery charging time for LiFePO4 batteries is quicker than for lead acid or other lithium batteries, Typically LiFePO4 units have four times the energy density and charge five times faster than lead acid batteries.
      The cycle life for a LiFePO4 battery is up to five times the cycle life of some lithium ion batteries, often reaching up to 5000 cycles without any significant drop in performance.

    A: Our battery can be used well below 0°C (can be normally discharged), but we don’t suggest charging the battery below 0°C.

    It is like most kinds of the battery in the market now:
    Operating Temperature: Charge: 0°C to 50°C; Discharge: -20°C to 60°C.

    Currently our battery can be charged at low temperature, but it is charged with a very small charging current. And we’ve used auto motive grade battery cells which have superior quality. Even if charging in low temperature environment for emergency usage, it will not damage the battery.

    We're planning to sell batteries with self-heating functions which allows it to be charged in freezing temps in a few months, and you could keep an eye on our store if you're interested.
