Warning:
A:Yes, LiFePO4 is an inherently safe chemistry and the most stable lithium-type battery on the market. LANPWR lithium cells are UL certified for the highest safety and sustainability standards. All LANPWR LiFePO4 batteries come with an internal Battery Management System, which protects against under-voltage during discharge, over-voltage during charge, over-current during discharge, over-temperature during charge and discharge, and short-circuit protection – protects battery cells from damage. Additionally, LANPWR LiFePO4 Lithium batteries have been tested to be free from the risk of fire, and electric shock in harsh environments.
A: No. LANPWR LiFePO4 lithium batteries are not intended to be used as starting batteries but energy storage, please do not use them to start any devices.
A: Sure, you can use this battery for your marine house, besides, LANPWR LiFePO4 battery is widely used for Marine, Car, Golf car, RV, Solar power Systems, Home Energy Storage, Trolling Motor, Boat, motorhome & camper, etc.
A: Yes, you can charge LANPWR LiFePO4 lithium batteries with solar panels. You should size your charge controller based on the voltage and current output of your solar array setup. That will ensure that your charge controller can process and regulate the power coming from your solar panels. Take a 24V MAX. 22 amps output solar system as an example, you need a solar charge controller that can handle 24 volts and 27.5 amps (125% of your max current output).
A: The LANPWR 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 batteries can be safely charged between 32°F to 113°F (0°C to 45°C). But when charging under the freezing point, the battery cells may be damaged.
A: It is recommended to store LANPWR LiFePO4 batteries at 50% state of charge (SOC). If the batteries are stored for long periods, cycle the batteries at least every 6 months. Recommended storage environment: 10℃~35℃ (50℉~95℉), 45%RH~75%RH
A: You can use LiFePO4 14.6V 20A charger to charge our LANPWR 12V 100Ah lithium battery, it takes 5 hours to fully charge.
*3 ways torecharge the battery:
① LiFePO4Battery Charger (Recommend 14.6V 20A: 5 hours)
② Solar Panel + MPPT (Recommend≥400W: Within 1 sunny day)
③ Generator + DC-DC charger (Recommend 20Ah DC-DC charger: 5 hours)
A: We suggest that the battery series/parallel connection should meet the following demands:
The same battery capacity (Ah);
From same brand (as lithium battery from different brands has their special BMS);
Purchased in near time (within three months);
Series Connection up to 4 identical batteries for up to 48V (51.2V);
Parallel Connection up to 4 identical batteries for up to 400Ah.
A: The LANPWR 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 lithium battery has a maximum continuous discharge of 100Ah and a maximum discharge of 280Ah for 5 seconds.
A: LiFePO4 batteries should be “topped off” after each use. For greatest longevity, we recommend not fully discharging the battery nor over-charging by leaving it connected to a charger well beyond its full charge cycle. Remember that over the long term, the battery has a limited number of charge and discharge cycles with “one cycle” being either a complete charge and discharge cycle, or a cumulative of both to add up to a full cycle.
A: Due to the different manufacturers of battery parts, we do not recommend connecting the battery in series and parallel with other brands, which will affect battery function and also affect your product warranty.
A: LANPWR 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery has an IP65 protection class, are Made with quality ABS plastic, has a wide range of operating temp: Charge: 0°C to 50°C(32°F to 122°F); Discharge: -20°C to 60°C(-4°F to 140°F), IP65 level waterproof set you free from worrying to install indoors or outdoors. But remember that water and electricity are a bad combination. Prolonged exposure to a high-moisture environment may cause water to penetrate the battery and cause irreversible damage. Like with most electronics, never submerge a LANPWR LiFePO4 battery.
